No. 240 - Saturday Morning in Park City

Sitting on a park bench beneath a Siberian elm

Red fire hydrant, blue trash can, burgundy plum

Green grass, translucent dew bubbles on the tips

Mountains of amber, apricot, and lemon hues

19th century Victorian with a white picket fence

49°, clear skies, brisk autumn breeze

Nose running into my waxed mustache

Loud, aging hippie, bitching

Dog walkers; border collie, bulldog, Labrador

Joggers in purple and turquoise shorts

Ski lifts quietly hanging between conifers

Birds chirping

American flag sways

I’m at peace … finally
